Service Description

While an in-person visit is best, for many situations we may be able to help through a video call and this often works best for out-of-town clients. We want you to be comfortable and practice breastfeeding in your own environment. Don't worry about cleaning up, feel free to stay in your robe. You're recovering and we understand that! A video call visit generally lasts about 1 hour, depending on how cooperative baby is and how many questions you have. During your visit, we will discuss your concerns and take a brief medical history. Then, with a focus on your areas of concern, we will help with latch or pumping, and work with you to develop a plan for moving forward. Following the appointment, you will receive a care plan via email summarizing the topics we discussed and we'll stay in touch to continue answering questions as they come up. It can help to have another helper with you to move the camera around if needed.
